But it may already be safe to declare that the days of folk music being dominated by leftists, Communists, and atheists has officially ended.

For decades, the dismal impact folk music was having on American culture and media, and its corresponding financial returns, inspired the late Utah Phillips to rhetorically ask, "How do you make a million dollars in folk music?" His answer: "Spend two million."

I think the reason for such futility is now obvious. The ability of leftists, Communists, and atheists to truly connect with the struggles, joys, and values of average Americans has always been quite limited.

The incubation of this dominant folk music orientation could not have been more odious and inorganic. When you really trace it back, it would not have existed without the University experience of the late 1950's and '60's. A large number of Marxist professors infiltrated these institutions after World War II, joined by their patriarch-hating, feminist counterparts in the 1970's. They determined the curriculum, the culture, and the policies.

As any adult knows, university life is a far cry from real life. Until our youth get out of the classroom, pay their own bills, and experience how the world really works, they are very impressionable, and to a large degree, believe everything they are taught. King Solomon and Vladimir Lenin didn't have much in common. But both realized the importance of training up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old, he will not depart from it. Furthermore, who financed these professors and their activist groups? Often, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the CIA's MK Ultra. Hardly the prime demographic of folk music, wouldn't you say?

Fast forward to earlier this month, August 2023. An independent artist suddenly emerges, not out of the most bureaucratic, privileged, collectivist, over-priced, and wealthy institution in western society. This artist, an aspiring farmer living off the grid, emerged from a remote part of Virginia, eking out a living on his own. He is not a Communist. He believes strongly in American free enterprise and meritocracy. He is not an atheist. He's a Bible believing Christian with traditional values. And yes, he is a male. And it's just him and his dobro guitar.

When Oliver Anthony performed at his local farmer's market back in June, twenty patrons shuffled by to watch him. A few days ago, he returned for a repeat performance. It caused a traffic jam with well over a thousand descending on the market. Back in the '80's and 90's, it took a lot of work to get a thousand people to show up for a folk concert. But for this gentleman, it was no work at all because he was a true, overnight sensation.

At this post-covid point in history, people are waking up. The red pill realities of who we truly are, and the reason the rulers of this world want us weak, deceived, and prematurely dead, is hitting many quite hard.

The struggles of the working class in 2023 are far more MAGA than Marx. With Oliver Anthony, folk music is finally reflecting it. This turning point is long overdue.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-19665529516822751962022-11-04T21:28:00.001-07:002022-11-04T21:28:24.544-07:00Jeff's Election Season Editorials
Editorial - Comrade Healey
Editorial - Democrat for Diehl
Editorial - No Forgive and Forget

Around one and a half years ago, I decided to let the folkimage.com domain name expire to save an annual expense for a website that had not been active in well over a decade. But a little more than a week ago, I became enamored with the idea of restoring the whole thing and integrating it into the t1700.net domain.

The work took three days. The longest, most tedious part was changing perhaps more than a thousand links from folkimage.com to t1700.net/folkimage.com. I also updated to a currently functioning search engine and removed links to software that was no longer relevant.

You can now find a link to Folk Image on every page of t1700.net. All available two hour shows, specials, live events, and artist interviews are there for your enjoyment.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-17225544608379017812022-09-06T17:09:00.000-07:002022-09-06T17:09:33.872-07:00Workarounds discovered: Liberty & Justice 1640 should return to its regular program schedule Tues. night 9/6
I thought of a workaround and after considering it for a couple days, I have decided to go with it. My personal desktop computer uses the same motherboard model that the Liberty & Justice automation computer uses. I can install it in the Liberty & Justice computer along with all the other hardware that was originally there. With that there should be no issues with activation or having to re-register the automation software.

This will cause some inconvenience as I will need to temporarily reshuffle the functions I normally do on my personal computer to other devices. But I'll live with it for a few weeks.

Expect the internet stream, normal audio processing, and regularly scheduled programming to return by 6 AM Eastern on September 7th.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-31825977244003759422022-09-02T20:53:00.001-07:002022-09-02T20:53:38.646-07:00Worst possible timing: Motherboard of the Liberty & Justice computer suffers a BIOS update mishap. Regular programming suspended, possibly for weeks
The past three weeks have not been kind to Minimum Wage Media's PC work horses. First, a dish cloth got caught in the CPU pins of the motherboard in my personal desktop computer, ruining it probably for good. Then, as if all the fall out from that was not enough of an expense and inconvenience, the motherboard of the main Liberty & Justice computer underwent a USB-based flashed BIOS update while I forgot to remove a networking device that was still connected to the USB bus. The update took forever with mostly a blank screen. It finally proceeded normally. But after completion, the computer went dead instead of attempting a re-boot. It has not been able to power up since.

The motherboard is still under warranty, so the cheapest solution was to send it back to the manufacturer to have them re-set the BIOS. However, the complete process may take four weeks or more.

The timing could not have been worse. The Massachusetts Primary is on 9/6 with the general election in November. Without that computer, and the years of programming and maintenance that went into it, I was forced to suspend regular programming indefinitely. There will be no internet stream, no local input to the programing, and no audio processing. Only the terrestrial AM signal within 3 miles of Acme Park will remain. We will carry various networks - Infowars, GCN, Real America's Voice, RSBN, and Frank Speech - switching among them with no set schedule as I am able to do so. I am planning to carry President Trump's Wilkes-Barre rally live on Saturday and the Tele-rally on Labor Day evening (7 PM) featuring President Trump, Geoff Deihl, and Leah Allen. But mostly it will be all networks all the time by necessity.

Computers are finely tuned, unforgiving devices. I appreciate your support.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-75106902421459595252022-05-06T10:47:00.000-07:002022-05-06T10:47:51.263-07:00Both FM signals (mini translators) have been shut down permanently
I have decided to permanently shut down our FM mini-translator signals at 87.9 and 97.9. Due to our New
England winters, I cannot get an FM transmitter to last more than
two years. Without proper antenna de-icing, multiple components fail and
it is not an easy fix without a schematic. Buying new transmitters - yet again - and erecting antennas inside the only RF transparent building I own (a wooden shed) would not be worth the time or expense during this period of my life. All this and one additional factor weighed in my decision.

Of course, you can still hear the stations on their main AM frequencies of 1640 and 1710. A modification I made in their tuning systems last year has resulted in the best range ever for these two signals. They also broadcast in stereo using the Motorola C-Quam system on receivers from the late 1980's and early 1990's capable of decoding such analog-based multiplexing.

If you are more than 2.5 or 3 miles from the transmitters, your sole option remains the audio streams.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-14632053532101606632021-12-10T12:51:00.001-08:002021-12-10T15:00:56.906-08:00Troubadour 1710 format change coming in 2022
Through the course of 2022, as time permits, I will be shifting the format of Troubadour 1710 in a more "baby-boomer oriented" classic country and Americana direction. A large quantity of country hit singles, album tracks, independent releases, and local artists from the 1960's to 1990's will be added, while music and artists who are not appropriate for this direction will be gradually dropped.

At this time in history, I feel it is important that both Minimum Wage Media radio stations reflect the same traditional American values, lifestyle, culture, love of freedom, and spiritual orientation. I am increasingly uncomfortable with the direction the non-country-crossover folk world has taken in recent years and the attitudes it promotes. Since non-country folk people tend to believe everything the mainstream media tells them concerning Covid and its "variants," live performances are still scarce and admission is usually subject to severe restrictions. The number of new releases is way down and the product is quite mediocre. But then again, what you believe definitely affects the quality of your work.

Truly "evergreen" non-country-crossover folk product that is universal and timeless in its appeal will remain but be confined to the evening hours (7-11 PM) when the emphasis will be more acoustic. Relaxing "new age" will remain overnights to aid in your rest.

My time for such a huge alteration is limited, thus the gradual shift over a year's time instead of a sudden format change. But once established, I believe sensible listeners will be pleasantly surprised and quite pleased. Stay with us and support us financially if you can.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-79108254828058855912021-09-16T09:41:00.000-07:002021-09-16T09:41:54.941-07:00Minimum Wage Media policy concerning events and venues requiring shots or recent test
audio message

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-65763692874770226622021-07-23T13:01:00.000-07:002021-07-23T13:01:07.882-07:00"Boomer Country Memories" debuts Sunday evenings on Troubadour 1710
For years I put off the idea of developing such a show. I knew the tremendous amount of time it would take to research and archive the musical content needed to make it sustainable - time that I simply did not have. But everything DOES have its time and finds its time. A couple weeks ago, I couldn't put it off any longer.

In the early stages of downloading and filling in metadata, I found myself quite moved by these old songs, many of them almost forgotten. In the following days, building the library for the show almost became an obsession.

Being reunited with many long lost musical gems was certainly a major aspect in my reaction. I spent the better part of 13 years as an on-air personality and music programmer in country radio. But underlying all that was something deeper. It was mourning for the loss of a time when we were more social, innocent, trusting, and free. It was the loss of the cohesive culture and values that traditionally were aligned with country music.

What most of us Boomers grew up assuming was common sense we now have to waste time and effort defending. The people and culture that produced all this compelling music is, in my view, being attacked on all fronts. But that's just my reaction.

Tune in Sunday evenings from approximately 7 (or whenever the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast ends) until 9 to see what state of mind 2 hours of country music from the golden era puts you in.

Boomer Country Memories - Sunday evenings on Troubadour 1710. Either there was too much electrical energy in the atmosphere or too much precipitation had frozen on the antennas. Either way, both of them will no longer work properly. New transmitters have been ordered, but I do not expect the signals at 87.9 and 97.9 to return until some time in January.

I found an incredible bargain of two new FM transmitters for $140.00. But since the expense was unexpected, I am now seeking assistance from listeners. If you would like to honor us with a gift this holiday season, visit t1700.net/advertise.html and contribute through PayPal or Patreon, or you may mail a check to 154 Great Road, Lot 8, Shirley, MA 01464. I hope to raise the entire $140 by January 1st.

2020 has been an extremely challenging year for all of us. Thanks to the lockdowns, mask mandates, social unrest, my volunteer time with the Shiva for Senate campaign, and the stolen elections, Liberty & Justice 1640 has, by necessity, captured the overwhelming majority of my attention. Troubadour 1710 has suffered as a result, for which I apologize. My prayer for 2010 is that somehow, more rational thinking will emerge, the Covid mandates end, and the elections reflect the actual results. We desperately need normalcy again where the politics, health, and insight of Liberty & Justice, and the art, culture, and music of Troubadour strike a balance in my time commitments.

Once again, if you would like to help me get the FM signals back on the air, visit t1700.net/advertise.html. At the same time, he reveals ultimate truth (informed by countless near-death recollections): All humans are nothing more than one consciousness having different experiences at different reference points. There is no identity. There are only experiences. (Sorry to spoil your particular brand of hate ranting!)

Dear Mr. Earle and management,

First of all, I want to express immense appreciation for your song "If I Could See Your Face Again," with vocals by Elenore Whitmore. As you know, it is a song about a woman who lost her husband in the 2010 West Virginia mining explosion, and only after his death does she fully appreciate what a wonderful man he was and how much she misses him.

The song, and its timing in my life, has had a powerful effect on me since I first heard it a week ago. It has brought me to tears several times a day, which no song has done in well over a decade. There are three reasons why this song turns me into a near emotional wreck:

1) Over the past few weeks, I have been enduring a situation where someone I care about has lost her trust and respect for me over a situation where I was actually trying to demonstrate how much I appreciate her.

2) The simplicity and humility of the woman is overwhelming. These are good working people who know what's meaningful in life. They are a far cry from your perverted, narcissistic, rich liberal friends in Hollywood and Broadway who divorce at the drop of a hat.

3) For the past 60 years, feminists have been spewing nothing but hatred for us men and everything male and masculine. They now control the media, the education system, and corporate board rooms. Today, if a man makes one false move, his career could be destroyed or his access to his children removed. Yet, here is an uncorrupted, traditional woman, far removed from that culture, expressing lament and wishing she had appreciated her late husband more when he was alive.

This is the kind of catharsis that today is going to put most men over the top. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if 80 percent of the correspondence you are receiving about this song is from men, and most of them are experiencing the song the same way I am.

It's time to be realistic, Mr. Earle. Left wing political thought in 2020 IS a religion. It is a body of belief, adhered to without questioning by a group that is largely atheistic. They have no God or higher authority they can turn to so they have no choice but to invent their own. Feminism is one of its foundational beliefs. If you are a leftist and you don't endorse feminism, you are an apostate and not a true leftist. Feminism believes, as Gloria Steinem once said, that a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.

According to the newspaper review I read, your goal in creating the album "Ghosts of West Virginia" was to reach out to working people in a Red State area whose livelihood involved conventional energy. You wanted to get to know them and understand them so that you could eventually convert them over to your way of political thinking. But after interviewing this women, and writing what may be the most emotionally powerful song of your career - a song expressing a sentiment that the political left of 2020 would do ANYTHING to suppress and censor - I don't know how you could go through such an experience and remain a leftist. I find it totally baffling, even dishonest.

The reason men cry over this song, Mr. Earle, is due to the loss of this kind of innocence and sincerity in women thanks to everything your allies on the left have promoted for far too long. Even your ideas on energy and the environment are proving to be total lies. You can't power a 21st century economy on silly 3-blade wind generators with their own environmental problems, or solar panels that only generate energy 3-4 hours a day. Do the research! Without the subsidies, these frauds wouldn't even exist. Products that work don't need government subsidies. As the saying goes, build a better mousetrap and people will beat a path to your door.

Yes, your intention was to convert these people. But if you were honest, you would have allowed THEM convert YOU. And so far, there is no sign you have.

Sincerely,

I am so impressed with his research, his spiritual insights into the current crisis, his awareness of the value of each unique, individual human creation - and the damage the "cult" has done to that creation in recent weeks - I have decided to air it in its entirely on Tuesday morning from 6-9 AM Eastern on Liberty & Justice 1640. In recent days, David and Brian have been removed from nearly every social media platform in existence. David's YouTube channel had more than 3/4 million subscribers. That means micro stations such as Liberty & Justice 1640 become more valuable in getting the word out.

This is so important, it cannot wait until the weekend. I may also air it as a special during another slot between now and then. fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-84506542181335084402019-12-02T14:51:00.000-08:002019-12-02T14:51:18.988-08:00Both AM signals now broadcasting in C-Quam StereoAround a week before Thanksgiving, I made the decision to take two of the ASMAX2 AM Stereo transmitters that had recently returned from Greece and install them in Shirley at the flagship antennas. Then, either next Spring, or whenever a break occurred in the weather, I would either install the two SSTran AMT-5000's (which have served each station since 2014) in Worcester, or swap them for two more Asmax2's, depending upon how well the Asmax2's performed in Shirley.

After putting up with some brutal, late November weather conditions on my roof, I am pleased to announce that the whole project was completed by sunset Saturday. The result has been inspiring and certainly better than what I expected. The range is either just as good or better than with the SSTran's and the audio quality is even better, even on a typical mono receiver.

Since putting Troubadour on the air in 2004, my desire had always been to somehow go AM Stereo. Analog AM Stereo is well suited for Part 15 stations which cover most of their tiny ranges with a weak, secondary signal. Unlike analog FM stereo (and certainly HD AM), the AM Stereo pilot signal is receivable with channel separation to the very end of a station's coverage.

To many of us who were professional broadcasters in the '80's and early '90's when AM stereo had its biggest impact, it's eventual lack of mainstream acceptance, and the subsequent introduction of HD in the early 2000's - with muddy sounding, narrow banded analogue AM radios becoming the norm - is something we never accepted or get over.

There are now three AM Stereo signals receivable during daylight hours in the Shirley Center, North Shirley, and Woodsville neighborhoods: WJIB, 740; Liberty & Justice 1640, and Troubadour 1710. At least that's better than just one. fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-46394322252806469862019-11-03T12:50:00.000-08:002019-12-02T12:52:27.969-08:00ThanksThank you to all that contributed during our emergency late
October fundraiser. At the current moment, we have reached $400 of the
$500 goal, but I am expecting an after-fundraiser gift in the coming
days that will put us right on the mark. You can support the stations
anytime through our "advertise"
link on both websites. Over the past few days, I have been ordering the
computer hardware and weatherproof boxes needed to perform the upgrades
and repairs, thanks to your help.

Also, I apologize for being off the air from late Saturday morning
through late Sunday morning. A power situation occured at my unit and
it tripped an outdoor circuit braker that I didn't previously know
existed. I don't have conclusive evidence which appliance caused it,
but I have a suspicion and I'll see what happens the next time I use
it. I will be more prepared. fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-49221034306552645902019-10-28T11:33:00.000-07:002019-10-28T11:36:38.622-07:00$150 more needed to end fundraising; Investor needed for BistroBratThe emergency fundraiser for Troubadour 1710 and Liberty & Justice 1640 continues through October 31st. In addition to running my two radio stations, and maintaining full time outside work in the gig economy to support them and myself, I am also in the process of starting my own local multi-restaurant delivery service called BistroBrat.com.

Due to the inconsistencies in low gig economy income, miscommunications involving the delivery business startup, and equipment breakdowns and other frustrations involved with the stations, I can no longer afford to fund them at all, let alone 100 percent. That is why I am having this emergency fundraiser through the end of the month.

I am pleased to announce that we have, as of this writing, raised over 70 percent of our goal of $500. But we still have a ways to go to cover all our necessary equipment costs. Thanks to your generosity, a new router has been obtained and it networks flawlessly. Also the remaining hardware needed to upgrade the Liberty & Justice automation desktop should be arriving this week. However, the Vista era laptop which I use to do production, record voice announcements, and rip or download music and video clips is still causing major frustrations. In fact, while I was writing this message, it had a blue screen crash. I lost all my work and had to start over. It also hasn't maintained a dependable internet connection through wireless for years. There are two options I have for replacing it, one of which will cost over $200, similar to the upgrade of the L&J desktop.

Fortunately, the return shipping from Greece for the three broken transmitters that had provided our Worcester signals cost considerably less than expected. They have been repaired and are on their way back to the States. However, we will need outdoor housing for all three boards that is truly waterproof, which will cost around $60 for all three. So we have about $300 in remaining expenses. Right now, the reserve fund from your donations is around $170. That means we need to raise another $130-$150 by the 31st.

Your assistance in helping us raise this additional amount would be much appreciated. It will also result in reaching the $500 overall goal. Please visit t1700.net/advertise.html and assist us in any way you can. Keep these unique, courageous, and culturally sound stations on the air. Our programming concerns things that really matter and culture that truly fulfills, unlike controlled mainstream radio.

Also, it has become increasingly apparent over the past few days that if I continue attempting to keep my financial head above water through the gig economy while running the two stations, the delivery service is never going to get off the ground and things will continue to deteriorate financially for me. I am now looking for an investor to assist with my living and other modest expenses for the next few months, as well as some labor and publicity costs necessary for the startup. I absolutely need to devote full time to launching BistroBrat while maintaining the stations after hours. That's enough responsibility for one person! If you are someone who helps startup enterprises get off the ground, or know of someone who does, please put me in touch with them. The email address is founder@bistrobrat.com. Voice/text is 508-202-8697. fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-21947318863389150662019-10-19T13:37:00.000-07:002019-10-20T07:34:13.792-07:00When it rains, it pours...It took a while to diagnose definitively, but yet another piece of equipment involved in the operation of the stations has failed, namely my wireless router. I explored the possibility of repairing it myself (perhaps it had bulging capacitors?), but repair involved a tool that even I didn't have, plus the internet LED indicator no longer lights. It cost the same money and far less time to buy an "open box" model on eBay. Thanks to your donations, I obtained one for under $25 and it will be here in the middle of the week.

My ISP provided me with a modem that has built in WiFi. But every time I turn on the wireless in that device, I get low grade headaches and jittery. That hasn't happened with any name-brand, stand alone wireless router I have ever had. So I need to use a separate unit.

The absence of a working wireless router makes the logistics of operating Liberty & Justice 1640 very frustrating. Since I am already overwhelmed with so much, Liberty & Justice will be taken off the air late Saturday night and not return until probably Wednesday 10/23 when the new router is expected to arrive.

Although fundraising started out very slow this past week, I am pleased to announce that a listener living within range of the radio signals made a very generous donation, and now we are more than halfway to the goal of $500. ($330 so far, to be exact). I want to thank those who have contributed to this unique broadcasting effort and I hope I can soon with a personal email.

In my next message, I will be listing the equipment needed that the (hopefully) $500 will be budgeted toward, including the upgrade or replacement of two Windows Vista era computers, which at times cause a great deal of frustration and wasted time. (One of them is running the L&J automation.)

Once again, the deadline to reach the $500 goal is October 31st. If you have enjoyed or benefited from the programming of either or both stations, and you can afford any size of donation, I would be honored by it. My hope is that when BistroBrat, my local multi-restaurant delivery service, is finally established, I will once again be able to financially support the stations 100 percent. But for now, that is an impossibility. Donate by visiting this link.

fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-13329519909275980212019-10-13T08:41:00.000-07:002019-10-13T13:04:33.129-07:00Donations desperately needed at this timeThis has been an incredibly challenging and difficult year for me. In addition to operating and programming two Part 15 radio stations and trying to survive by working 35-40 hours per week in the often unreliable gig economy, I have been attempting since the late Spring to launch a new local multi-restaurant delivery service called BistroBrat Food Delivery. But due to a miscommunication, the startup has been delayed another three weeks and the mistake is causing crippling service fees and bank fees for merchant services that I'm not even going to be using. Furthermore, during early September, my gig economy income plummeted for several weeks while the company involved revamped its entire payment structure, causing work offers received by all contractors to be severely reduced. I'm still feeling the effects of that.

I have not received a single dime in donations this entire year in support of the radio stations. I ask, isn't all this unique content I am either creating or sharing worthy of some donation? If you listen to my stations, and both haven't enriched and improved the quality of your life over the past year, I question your humanity.

Do you think for one minute that any licensed commercial station in Massachusetts would have the courage to air what Liberty & Justice airs? What about Infowars, the most banned network on the internet? What about all the red-pilled dating knowledge and training for men that I am now mixing in on weekends, proving what an utter fraud and disaster the feminism of the past 50 years has been for both sexes and our relationships with each other? This information is finally empowering men and has even saved some from suicide!

What about the natural health summits I've been airing in their entirety, such as the iThrive series, which blows the lid off the entire medical/pharmaceutical complex concerning diabetes and obesity? The series host is living proof of what you can do to dramatically improve your condition. Do you think mainstream media, financed by big pharma and fast food is going to reveal this?

And what about all that wonderful, introspective, acoustic flavored Americana music on Troubadour 1710? Isn't it a far healthier cultural influence than what you get in most places today? We need a revival of Americana, both in culture and in values, and Troubadour is carving that path. What about all the new age music overnight helping you to rest and ease the stress of the day?

And what about keeping you informed about local community and cultural events? The FCC has granted LPFM licenses to broadcasters who do nothing more than run an automated jukebox with an on-the-hour station ID. That's it! The new LPFM station over in Acton does this and nothing more, 24/7! Here is a class of licensed station designed to be a community service. Yet my Part 15 stations, with zero income and no license, provide more community information in one week than that station does in an entire year.

Isn't all this worthy of your financial support? Where else are you going to get all of this conveniently in just two places? And from a station owner who not only works elsewhere full time but is also trying to start a multi-restaurant delivery service on the side? Where else do you get this kind of productivity and value???

Right now, I have no money to even buy gas for my car until Tuesday morning. I can't perform my gig economy work without gas in my car! Please, if you have never supported Minimum Wage Media before, or have in the past, now is the time to contribute to this unique media effort.
The signals only covered a few blocks of downtown and provided considerably less coverage than expected. The ASMAX2 AM Stereo transmitters were shipped back to the manufacturer in Greece for testing and repair. New transmitter housing will be required once they return and more experimentation with the repaired ASMAX2's will be needed to discover the cause of the poor signal coverage.
Co-sited Part 15 AM station Expresso Latin Radio 1620 has reverted to its original Procaster transmitter while its ASMAX2 is also being checked or repaired.fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-65380489336966881532019-05-02T07:10:00.000-07:002019-05-02T07:10:01.609-07:008th Annual Food Revolution Summit replays on Liberty & Justice 1640Continuing

Crowdfunding effort announced to cover equipment and other costs. In the past four
months, Minimum Wage Media has stumbled upon an exciting opportunity to
expand. We have been granted permission to add Part 15 AM transmitters
for Troubadour 1710 and Liberty & Justice 1640 in downtown
Worcester Massachusetts, New England's second largest city. Better yet,
the space is rent free in exchange for services I have already been
performing for the property's tenant who is a fellow Part 15
broadcaster.

But in order to take advantage of this opportunity, we need to cover
total equipment costs of $3200 and legal costs of $600 (formal
incorporation of Minimum Wage Media).

With the demise of Part 15 AM kit manufacturer SSTran, gone are the days
of assembling a high quality AM transmitter for less than $250. That
leaves the $900 Hamilton
Rangemaster as the only other option for truly trouble-free
operation.

I
have set up a crowdfunding page at Fundrazr.com to help
finance the Worcester downtown signals project. You can also read the
full story as to how this opportunity came to be. Those wishing to
support us on an automatic, monthly basis can visit our support page at
Patreon.com.

As a special bonus, I am offering a year of free advertising to any
suitable Worcester area business or institution that contributes $1000
or more to this effort. Such a business will have their spot run a
minimum of five times a day on each station for a full year, commencing
once the Worcester signals have been established.

Troubadour 1710's folk, Americana, and new age music format is the
product of 29 years of continual effort and a voice for cultural
sanity. And Liberty & Justice 1640's courageous talk format
doesn't shy away from deep research and suppressed controversy. The
stations would be unique in any market. They deserve a shot at a larger
audience and Worcester is as good a market as it gets when it comes to
potential.

Once the signals in Worcester are established, the potential to expand
into Fitchburg and Leominster also becomes a real possibility. My
fellow Part 15 broadcaster has that as her next goal. We have a site
there IF it can accommodate three transmitters. Fitchburg/Leominster is
a market long overdue for intelligent radio with a vision.

So, if you can, please
support this effort on Fundrazr.com.

Thanks so much for your time and consideration.

I want to humbly thank Carol and Jack of Marlboro for housing the old
Walden 1120 music library rent free for the past 20 years. When I look
back at all the financial turmoil that has occurred over that
time, I don't know what I would have done without this ongoing storage
"gift." With that said, I am currently in the process of finding a new
home for the library, either temporary or permanent. I also need to
reclaim the shrinking living space in my own home for the ever growing
post-1997 library. fjockeyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11336355101663378901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860246179441376400.post-52625672156101803972017-04-25T18:09:00.000-07:002017-04-25T18:09:02.188-07:00Troubadour 1710 main format extended by an hourI
